ATTENTION DEEP CREEK LAKE BOATERS
At DCLSP – ALL users of boat ramp will NOT enter thru the main gate at Deep Creek Lake State Park as in the past. Anyone going to use the Boat RAMP will enter thru the 2nd gate, the old AFTER HOURS entrance. There will no longer be that After Hours – it Shall be the only entrance for Boat Ramp users. Now if you have family/friends following in a vehicle, They will have to go thru the main entrance like all other Park users. Just go past the regular entrance to Park and make the next Left TURN.
REASON is: This should eliminate the traffic congestion we’ve seen at the main entrance to Park.
Everyone will still need to pay the LAUNCH fee $10 in State and $11 out of State. But you will not have to pay the Park Service Charge. They are constructing a toll booth at the new entrance.
Best idea is to get a PASSPORT Pass – save $$ and time.
